Insidious behaviour By Centrelink over Robodebt exercise
It’s not difficult to understand the degree of loss of hope a nation can sink to with the latest news uncovering systemic calculated blatant and insidious behaviour within Centrelink management over Robodebt and collection practices.
On one hand laughable, on the other, life threatening.
Heinous stories of deliberate tactical attack on our most vulnerable demographic.
Australia’s Declining welfare system
What’s more frightening is knowing the latest acts are only part of an ongoing suite of misguided policing. Enforced by an overkill and unnecessary sleuth the Robodebt debacle, it seems, tops the history of intimidation and purposeful hunting practice.
Any good or hope, which Centrelink and the Australian welfare system is meant to offer, has been a declining affair since inception.
A proud child of the 60’s, conditioned to be somewhat resilient and resourceful, I’ve witnessed first hand the failings of Australian welfare for over half a century.
Grim is the picture.
Rather absurd when you consider mental health simultaneously in vogue.
Your voice matters
One thing I’ve learned, had to re-learn and sadly, repeatedly remind myself, over my fifty two years of existence, is to voice.
As overwhelming a task this may seem, remember the Terms of Reference.
